The Origin of Anime

The history of animation can be traced back to the beginning of the 20th century. According to the history, Japanese culture gave the birth for anime.

In early days before origin of anime, there was a thing called magic lantern in Japan. It worked by moving colorful painted figures across a projection screen.

Ōten Shimokawa, Jun'ichi Kōuchi and Seitaro Kitayama normally known as the ‘fathers of anime’.

 

So what is the first anime ever made?

According to Natsuki Matsumoto, ‘Katsudo Shashin’ is the first animated film produce in Japan nearly 1907.

‘Namakura Gatana’ also known as the first anime that was produced in Japan. It produced nearly 1917.

In and after this era, many anime producers were born and famous in the world. In 1970s, Disney animators joined and developed many different kind genres of anime. Lupin The Third, Astro Boy, Mazinger Z was some famous anime in this period.

 

Nowadays with the advancement of technology we can see many great quality animations all over the world. Anime makes a huge contribution to the Japanese economy also. Naruto, One Piece, Dragon Ball, One punch man, City Hunter are some world famous Japanese animations.
